MathSheetGo · Sheet #303Please review before classroom use

Knowing multiplication facts quickly makes the rest of upper elementary math much easier: division, fractions, area and multi-digit work all depend on it. These sheets cover facts from the 1 times table up to 12 × 12.

Pick one times table to practise it on its own, or leave it on “Mixed” for review. The easier level uses smaller factors (up to 5 × 10). The harder level focuses on the 6s to 12s, which are usually the last facts children learn.

Suggested order for learning the tables

  • Start with ×1, ×2, ×5 and ×10, which follow easy patterns.
  • Next, ×3, ×4 and ×11.
  • Then ×6, ×8 and ×9, building on doubles and the nines finger trick.
  • Finish with ×7 and ×12, then do mixed review.

How to print this worksheet

  1. Check the settings above. They are already set for multiplication facts.
  2. Pick 10, 15, 20 or 30 problems, a title, and the name or date lines you want.
  3. Choose US Letter or A4 to match the paper in your printer.
  4. Press Download PDF for a file you can save and reuse, or Print to send it straight to your printer.
  5. Keep the answer key page for yourself. The sheet number in the footer lets you make the exact same sheet again later.

Frequently asked questions

Why do some problems repeat on a single-table sheet?
One times table only has a small number of different facts. If you ask for more problems than there are facts, some repeat, and the generator shows a notice when that happens.

Worksheets are generated automatically and checked by automated tests, but please review each sheet before using it in class.
